U.S. M1D Garand Sniper Rifle ( Pre-EU/UK Deactivation )

For sale to customers outside the European Union Only. This is an extremely nice sniper version of the M1 Garand rifle. There where two sniper versions of the M1 rifle the M1C and M1D which where both developed in 1944. Only the M1C saw very limited use during WW2. The Difference between the M1C and M1D was the mounting for the M84 telescope. The M1D saw service in Korea and Vietnam. It could also be fitted with a T-37 flash suppressor. This example comes with a T-4 cheek pad and a M1907 leather sling. The rifle is maker marked "International Harvester who produced a total of 277,744 rifles. This example has a 1963 dated barrel. This example does not cock or dry fire, however it does have a moving cocking handle under spring pressure. For Non EU Sales Only. However can be re-deactivated to the current EU specification.
