Austrian MP34 Submachine Gun ( Pre-EU/UK Deactivation )

For sale to customers outside the European Union Only. The MP34 was designed by a German but the manufacture was taken undertaken in 1930 by the Swiss firm Solothurn, who where actually owned by the German firm Rheinische Metallwaren und Maschinenfabrik of Dusseldorf. It was also made by the Austrian firm Waffenfabrik-Gesellschaft at Steyr and become known as the Steyr-Solothurn. The Swiss/Austrian designation for the weapon was the S1-100. However when Germany annexed Austria in 1938. The S1-100's became part of the Wehrmacht Inventory and was designated as the MP34 (0). In 1942 a number of MP34's where sold to Portugal which is the case with this example and is marked with the Portuguese crest and date of the contract 1942. However it still retains Third Reich proof markings, its matching numbered and in excellent condition. This weapon was deactivated before 1995 and has a working action. For Non EU Sales Only.
