U.S. Deactivated 60mm M19 Mortar

The M19 mortar was developed in 1942 as the T18E6 to replace the M2 mortar. It is a simple and light weight and was originally intended to be used without a mount. However this proved to inaccurate. The M5 mount and base plate was issued utilised with the M19 which was also used for the M2 mortar. It also fired the same ammunition as the M2. The M19 was used in Korean and Vietnam Wars. This example is in extremely good condition and Ordnance Department stamped. It comes with the M5 mount which is maker marked 'Vimalert.Co" and dated 1945 and the same base plate as used on the M2. It also comes with the M4 sight in its M81 metal carrying case, webbing sling with leather muzzle protector and two WW2 era wooden ammunition boxes for the M49 60mm mortar bombs. U.K. Sales Only.
