This is a M31 waterbottle set, consisting of 1940 dated waterbottle which is maker marked "CFF" ( Kisten-u.Holzwarenfabrik ). The aluminium cup has suffered with some corrosion, however you can still read the maker's mark "L&SL" ( Thuringer Mobelfabrik ) and dated 1936. This is a very nice example of an Italian officer's visor cap belonging to 4th Artillery Regiment. The celluloid triangle is intact with the maker's details "Sartoria Militare, Bongioui, Trento". The gold gilted chinstrap buttons have the Artillery motif of crossed cannons. read more
